Hello. I'm back again - with an inquiry on Dicey Suddarth Davis. After reading her will last year, I found someone who was going this year to the Hardin Cemetery. Neither Dicey nor her parents Benjamin Suddarth or Nancy Wright nor any other members of her family was to be found by physical inspection.

I'm dismayed that the instructions left in her will were not followed - that I've been able to find. Am I missing something? There seem to be several Hardin Cemeteries in Washington County, Indiana where it appears Dicey died. Her brother, Greenberry, outlived her - found him in several later censuses.

Is there some way of determining that her wishes had been adhered to and that the headstones had been placed to mark the family graves?

My interest is in Dicey's mother Nancy Wright, whom I know died bef 1860, as an estate document by her stepfather, John Goldman, made provisions for her heirs.

Nancy Wright was the daughter of Greenberry Wright and Catherine Lodicia 'Dicia' Savage, both of Randolph County, NC. Dicey was probably named after her grandmother.

I have no other sites, so if possible, please send your reply to my email address. Thanks.
